Spend the day photographing the streets with two of the biggest names in contemporary street photography.

The day will begin with a slideshow presentation of street photography from both celebrated and lesser-known artists, with a focus on London and including some of Jesse and David's own photographs. The tutors will discuss the aesthetics and meaning of street photography while giving an insight into their personal practice.

You will be set an assignment and will go out into the streets with Jesse and David to shoot for your project and put into practice some of the tips you've been taught. Specific challenges will be set to improve your street photography skills and help you to start thinking like the masters!

The workshop will end with a slideshow of your images from the day for critique and feedback from Jesse and David as well as an open discussion with the group.

QUOTE
"Exploring East London through David's eyes provided a fresh perspective, and helped reinforce my love for the area."
Yen Lin, London

HOW IS THE DAY STRUCTURED?
The workshop is for intimate groups of no more than 12 people. You will see the delightful East End (Shoreditch, Spitalfields, Brick Lane) with fresh eyes and pick up tips and tricks along the way.

Everyone will gain something regardless of his/her specific approach or technical level. You may be encouraged to take part in interactive challenges designed to encourage creative experimentation.

The tutors will be able to review some of your photos along the way. You will never see the streets or your camera in the same light again!
